Viewers tune off Charlie Sheen's Anger Management

The X Factor took the highest rated spot again last night while Nine’s Charlie Sheen-helmed Anger Management plunged to below half a million viewers.

Seven talent show The X Factor continued to pull in impressive numbers with 1.62 million metro viewers, according to preliminary overnight OzTam figures. Local series Winners & Losers was watched by 1.13 million viewers and was ranked third on the top programs list.

Nine’s comedy Anger Management dropped to 483,000 viewers last night. It premiered to 1.10 million viewers a month ago and has been on a downward trajectory since then. Last week, it was watched by 586,000 people.

Also on Nine, Big Brother garnered 1.07 million viewers.

Ten’s struggling I Will Survive failed to gain any ground and drew 336,000 viewers while a repeat of NCIS pulled in 604,000 viewers.

Other programs in the top 20 were Seven News, ABC News, Nine News, Today Tonight (Seven), Home and Away (Seven), A Current Affair (Nine), 7.30 (ABC), The Big Bang Theory (Nine), Ten News, QI (ABC), Rick Stein Tastes the Blues (ABC), The Project (Ten), Hot Seat (Nine), Modern Family (Ten) and Poh’s Kitchen Lends a Hand (ABC).

Across the main channels, Seven won the day with 27.3% of audience share, followed by Nine with 16.9%, the ABC with 12.8%, Ten with 11.9% and SBS with 4.9%.
