Tourism Australia has appointed Holler Sydney to enhance its YouTube-based digital marketing activities.

Holler emerged victorious from a multi-stage pitch process against an undisclosed number of agencies.

The agency will develop new creative assets for the national tourism body as part of its ongoing 'There's Nothing Like Australia' positioning.

Holler chief executive Mike Hill said: “It's fantastic to work with a client of the calibre of Tourism Australia. Arguably, they are selling the greatest product in the world, Australia, and it's a privilege to help them.”

Tourism Australia is Holler's first tourism client, however it has previous federal government experience, having worked for the Department of Education.

Last month, Tourism Australia unveiled a $250 million campaign targeting both international and domestic visitors. The campaign was created by its lead agency, DDB Sydney, whose contract was extended for a further 12 months to June 2013.
