STW-owned field marketing company Smollan Australia has expanded its national reach with the appointment of Crossmark's David Pollock as its first Australian CEO.

Pollock has joined the team from marketing group Crossmark, where he was director of client services.

Pollock said: “It’s a fantastic time to be joining Smollan, and I’m looking forward to the prospect of leading a team to develop bespoke solutions to Australian business needs, while harnessing the best practice expertise and insights of a global field marketing powerhouse.”

Crossmark senior national developer, Merril Chambers, has been appointed as Smollan's senior client service Manager, while Crossmark senior client manager Deborah Shea has been appointed as national field manager.

“Both Deb and Merrill are two of the best in the business and join an already talented and established team here at Smollan Australia," Pollock said. "All our senior staff have incredibly deep and strong local experience which when pooled, provides us with one of the strongest industry skills sets in the country.”

Smollan represents clients such as Mattel, Microsoft, Scholastic and Song.

Smollan provides services across the field marketing spectrum, including sales person training, retailer training programs, merchandising, stock placement and brand ambassadors, plus Auditing  account management and warehousing and distribution.
