Starcom MediaVest chief executive John Sintras has been promoted to the role of chairman while chief operating officer Chris Nolan has been elevated to chief executive.
Sintras' new role will see him take on expanded global duties as chairman of Starcom MediaVest Australia and director of global experience product.
Starcom MediaVest Group global chief executive Laura Desmond said: “Both John and Chris are exceptionally creative individuals who share a common vision of the entire SMG network.
“We are excited to see what they will bring to the table in their new roles and congratulate them on these latest accomplishments.”
Sintras said: “I am delighted to have the chance to work across our global network in such a key role, while at the same time continuing to contribute to the Australian agency and clients that I know and love.
“I’m particularly pleased that this has provided the opportunity to elevate Chris Nolan, whom I consider one of the industry’s brightest stars, to the CEO’s role”.
Sintras will still be based in Sydney.
