Simplot appoints Suzanne Harman as CMO

Simplot, which owns FMCG brands Birds Eye and Leggo's, has named Suzanne Harman as chief marketing officer.

Harman took over the role earlier this year following the departure of Tara Lordsmith, who held the role general manager of marketing.

Her remit includes overseeing marketing for the Simplot portfolio of food brands, which also includes Lean Cuisine, John West and Quorn.

Harman, was previously a marketing and brand manager at Simplot and before that worked at L'Oreal and Fonterra in a number of brand and marketing roles.

Simplot has also announced Strictly Ballroom and daytime TV presenter Sonia Kruger as its brand ambassador.
