Screen Australia tests your knowledge in new campaign

Screen Australia has released an online trivia quiz and app as part of its 'Are You Buff Enough?' campaign to promote the local film and TV industry.

The campaign is centred around a trivia game which boasts over 4,000 questions with more to be added regularly. The game is available to be downloaded as an app on Android and iOS platforms as well as on the desktop. It also features social integration and prize incentives.

The campaign was devised by Soap Creative and aims to create a community of Australian TV and film fans. It is supported by social media and cinema executions.

Screen Australia head of marketing Kathleen Drumm said: “The most powerful component in any cinema and television marketing campaign is word of mouth. People love to talk about movies and TV shows – what they've seen, what they want to see and what they've enjoyed.

“Are You Buff Enough? Provides the opportunity to bring together a community of film and TV buffs – to discuss, share, have fun and to celebrate our rich heritage of Australian storytelling.”

Soap Creative group account director Rebecca Supanovich said: “Entertainment and apps are right up our alley. So it was great to produce something with such depth on so many different platforms. We're honoured to be doing our but for the local industry through this campaign.”
