ANZ GayTMs, the cash machines it glammed-up for Sydney's Mardi Gras, took the Grand Prix in the Cannes Lions Outdoor category.

The work by Whybin TBWA Group Melbourne was praised for its ingenuity, bravery and simplicity.

Other Australian winners were McDonald's, which took three silvers for Big Mac Legends campaigns by DDB Sydney and Coke's Rainbow Billboard by Ogilvy and Mather Sydney, which took a bronze. The Bonds Boobs campaign for Pac Brands by Clemenger BBDO Melbourne also caught the judges eyes and scored bronze, as did work for WWF (Shark and Tiger) by Leo Burnett Sydney.

Three dog-based campaigns for Panasonic by Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney also won bronze awards.
