OMD has bolstered its digital capabilities with the recruitment of Aegis UK's Stuart Bailey as national head of digital.
Bailey joins OMD after almost five years at Carat UK where he was head of digital activation. He's also worked for Diffiniti, Mindshare and Just Media.
Bailey reports to head of digital, direct and data, Paul Elliot, who was recently promoted from the head of digital role. Tristan Bentall was recently appointed as national head of direct.
Elliot said: “Stuart brings a great depth of knowledge and expertise. His proven track record in managing large digital teams, his digital trading credentials, and his experience across a diverse range of categories make him the perfect hire to continue driving the evolution of our digital offering. Our clients and our people will benefit substantially from his significant digital experience, strategic know-how, and results-driven approach.”
Bailey said: “I am really looking forward to my new challenge as national head of digital at OMD. OMD and the digital team have such a great reputation that it is a real privilege to be joining the ranks. I am eager to employ the knowledge and expertise I have gathered over the last 11 years in the UK market and feel sure I will learn as much, if not more, in return.”
Bailey starts in October and will be based in Sydney.
