Nike kicks off epic slow-mo spot

To launch its latest shoe line, Nike in the US has rolled out a mind-boggling ad that somehow manages to be in real time and slow motion all at once.

Starring American basketballer Chris Paul, the spot aims to promote Nike's Jordan Brand and Paul's new CP3.VI shoe. It shows the sportstar - or rather, several lookalikes - in a seamless sequence of events.

He bursts out of a concrete wall filled with shoe boxes, knocks over a cyclist and spills a woman's coffee, all while playing a game of basketball and finishing with a board-shattering slam dunk.

The ad was created by Wieden + Kennedy in New York on shot on LA's iconic Venice Beach.
