Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand has appointed Lebara Mobile head of marketing Jules Clarkson as director of marketing and commercial partnerships.

He replaces Alison Bakunowich, who relocated to Nickelodeon UK earlier in the year.

Clarkson will be responsible for promoting Nickelodeon’s channels and brands to consumers, carriers and advertisers.

Apart from Lebara Mobile, Clarkson has worked previously as Hasbro Australia marketing director and international marketing director at electronic Arts.

Nickelodeon ANZ vice president and general manager Ben Richardson said: “Jules brings a wealth of experience marketing kids’ entertainment brands across a wide variety of international markets. His passion for kids’ brands and expertise in growing properties locally through international strategy will be an asset to Nickelodeon as he drives the business forward.”

Nickelodeon is a joint venture between Viacom International and XYZnetworks.
