OnTheHouse adds three new advertisers
Real estate portal OnTheHouse.com.au has just signed up AMP Bank, Appliances Online and HomeLoanFinder.com.au as advertisers. The site recently reached one million unique browsers per month, making it Australia's third largest online real estate platform as ranked by Nielsen.

The Sweet Shop teams up with Shrek, Narnia directors
Feature film group Strange Weather Films has formed a strategic partnership with global production company The Sweet Shop to co-produce feature film content. The joint venture's first project will be directed by Melanie Bridge and based on an original book by JayGrey's Jay Furby.

Ben Buckley scores senior Foxtel role
Foxtel has hired former Football Federation Australia (FFA) chief executive officer Ben Buckley as its new executive director of Sport and Foxtel Victoria. Buckley replaces Peter Campbell who will leave the firm to join the Australian Football League. Buckley will join on 3 June 2013.

AAMI drinks a Martini
Insurance company AAMI has launched a range of iPhone and iPad apps featuring the favourite recipes of local chef and food writer Karen Martini. It will give AAMI members and online users access to recipes free for three months, after which it will then revert to a paid app. The agency behind the work is Switch Digital.

Bauer gets beautiful
Bauer Media will roll out its fifth annual Australian Beauty Awards this year. The initiative, launched in 2009, aims to acknowledge the best products across categories including hair, face, skincare, eyes, body and lips. Products will be chosen by beauty editors from major Bauer titles The Australian Women’s Weekly, Woman’s Day, Cleo and Cosmopolitan. The winners will be published in dedicated beauty supplements appearing in the October/November issues of Bauer titles.

E2 puffs up with two new recruits
Ad agency E2 has hired two new senior staff to lead its Sydney and Melbourne offices. Danielle Barclay joins from CPM International – Omnicom Worldwide as the group strategic director, while Mitch Incoll joins the team from PHD Creative as the creative strategist. Both will report in to Robbie Robertson, managing director of E2.

SBS trumps Tour De France with more coverage
SBS will celebrate 100 years of the iconic cycling event, Tour de France, with extended coverage of the event. It will offer viewers exclusive live content and highlights.
