TAL Direct appoints new marketing head
TAL Direct, a division of life insurance company TAL has appointed Dave Hunt as its new chief marketing officer. Hunt has previously worked on brands including NRMA Insurance. The company's chief executive John Hoyle said the role was recently separated from its chief operating officer role "to give greater focus and accountability to servicing customer needs".

Landor boosts Sydney office
Brand and design firm Landor Associates has boosted its Sydney office with the appointment of a marketing manager and finance director. E2 sales and marketing manager Ashley Webster has joined in the newly created role of marketing manager, while London-based WPP Specialist Communications financial controller Russell Brown has joined as finance director.

Sol drinks with Vevo
Beer brand Sol will be the exclusive partner of music series Vevo Go Shows when its local series launches next month. Vevo Go Shows is a MCM Media and Vevo venture which features music artists giving spontaneous performances across Australia.
