Brandscreen lures $11m for APAC
Advertising technology company Brandscreen has completed a funding round of US$11 million, with the aim of fuelling growth in the Asia Pacific region.

NBN Co board nabs new director
Sydney Water former chief executive and managing director Dr Kerry Scott has been appointed to the NBN Co board. Schott is also a member of the Infrastructure Partnerships Australia Board, Whitlam Institute and the New South Wales Treasury Corporation (TCorp). Her appointment is effective immediately.

ACT Tourism campaign gains social traction
Australian Capital Tourism's 'Human Brochure' campaign, which offers 500 people a free weekend in Canberra, has attracted 31,406 entries. The campaign used social media channels to call for entries and saw one third come from mobile phones.

Yahoo!7 appoints chief financial officer
Yahoo!7 has appointed former Optus consumer division commercial director, Penny Diamantakiou, to the role of chief financial officer. Diamantakiou will report to chief executive Stuart Sayers and marks Sayer's first appointment since joining Yahoo!7.

Asia Pacific media and technology network Komli has appointed former ACP sales executive Benn Sykes as its NSW account director.

Who Magazine celebrates birthday with collector's issue
Who Magazine has launched a special bound collector's edition in a bid to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The title has also rolled out a designated mini-site, a revamped website and a campaign spanning across out-of-home, televisin, online, and social media.
