BioCeuticals hires marketing head
Nutritional and therapeutic supplements brand BioCeuticals has appointed Nathan Cheong as sales and marketing director. Cheong was previously managing director of vitamin brand Herbs of Gold. The new hire comes off the back of Blackmore's acquisition of BioCeuticals.

APG makes its way across the ditch
The Communications Council's Account Planning Group will extend its membership to New Zealand planners, strategists, researchers and clients. Locally supported initiatives and activities will be developed for next year. Meanwhile, the biannual APG Creative Strategy Awards has extended its deadline to 17 September.

Millward unveils facial recognition
Millward Brown has developed facial recognition technology called Link with Facial Coding to be used in the analysis of emotional response to advertising. The technology will aim to provide insight into viewers' unfiltered responses to visual images, analysing facial cues in real time via web cam.

Bulla appoints group marketing manager
Bulla Dairy Foods has recruited Briony Delaney as group marketing manager, responsible for Bulla's yoghurt, ice cream and cottage cheese portfolio. Delaney has previously worked at Lion and Nestle. She reports to recently appointed general manager marketing & innovation Helen Reece.
