ARN and OMD intros new radio booking platform
Australian Radio Network and OMD have launched RadioMatrix, a radio bookings system which claims to cut campaign reconciliations from one month to one day. The system is managed by AudioNet and works via automated daily file transfers. OMD has been testing the system on behalf on the Media Federation of Australia and other agencies are expected to take it up.

Carsguide names interim boss
Carsguide has appointed Lauren McLaughlin as interim chief executive following the resignation of Michael Schreck last week. McLaughlin has previously worked for Lusthaveit, Getaway Lounge, BBC Worldwide and Fairfax Media.

MCN and Telstra sing with Temper Trap and Birds of Tokyo...
Multi Channel Network and Telstra BigPond Music have teamed up to host a series of live events as part of a campaign to promote the new HTC One smartphone. The intimate gigs will be held at Hi Fi bars around the country and includes bands such as Temper Trap and Birds of Tokyo. All concerts will be filmed and broadcast across the MCN network and Telstra Tbox.

..and Telstra pushes IPTV
Telstra has beefed up its IPTV offering with a raft of bundled content and services to tempt punters into buying TV, broadband, phone and mobile services - all from its good self.
