PHD wins coveted Adweek award
Industry title Adweek has named Omnicom-owned media agency PHD as its 2012 Global Agency of the Year. The award follows a string of global account wins including Sony, Bentley, ANZ and Unilever. PHD Worldwide chief executive Mike Cooper said in a statement: “Being named Adweek’s Global Media Agency of the Year is great recognition of the whole network’s achievements in 2012. We have an outstandingly talented team of people at PHD around the world and it’s thanks to everyone across the agency that we have attracted great clients, produced great work and continued to punch above our weight in awards and thought leadership. We’re grateful to all our clients and partners and would like to thank them for their support over the last twelve months”.

With Collective appoints two new staff
Independent agency With Collective has appointed former Pusher group account director Karinne Limberious as its new account director, and former agency freelancer Ben White as senior designer. Limberiou will also be part of the agency's management team.

MasterChef: The Professionals maintains steam
The second episode of Ten's MasterChef: The Professionals has retained the majority of its debut audience. Last night, the program attracted 1.02 million metro viewers, according to preliminary OzTam figures, only a slight drop from Sunday night's 1.17 million viewers. The series was the top program in the key demographics of 16 to 39, 18 to 49 and 25 to 54.
