Grazia rings in redesign with racing issue
Women's fashion and lifestyle magazine Grazia has unveiled a new look this week with a cover redesign and a renewed focus on fashion-related content. The makeover debuted yesterday with its 'Big Racing Issue' and has also seen the introduction of two new regular fashion columns, curated by a team of Australian Fashion bloggers.
SCA appoints Gold Coast Media Centre GM
Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) has appointed former staffer Nick Scott to the role of Gold Coast Media Centre general manager. Scott will account for the network's radio stations 90.9 Sea FM and 92.5 Gold FM and its television brands Ten, One and Eleven. He was most recently working in a consulting role with SCA and starts work 2 October 2012 (today).
Macleay College launches student-led live newsroom
Macleay College is preparing to launch a live digital newsroom led by its students, covering news, features, sport, lifestyle and world news. It will be led by 11 of the university's student editors who will oversee a team of 80 journalism students. The 'Newsroom' will be supervised by six professional journalists.
MEC unveils new global brand identity
Media agency MEC has revealed a new global brand identity encompassing its logo, colour palette and iconography. The redesign was created by WPP-owned agency Lambie-Nairin.
Fairfax launches 'Food & Wine Network'
Fairfax metro media has launched an integrated, multi-platform network for advertisers called the 'Fairfax Food & Wine Network'. It aims to coincide with the name change of The Sydney Morning Herald's weekly Good Living section to Good Food, and is made up of 14 food and wine related brands across print, online, magazines, events, books and guides.
Inside Out celebrates 100th birthday with makeover
Women's lifestyle magazine Inside Out has undergone a redesign featuring a glossy cover finish and revised editorial sections to celebrates its 100th issue. The makeover has also seen the addition of five new sections covering shopping, renovation, cooking, gardening and humour. It will debut with its November/December 2012 issue on sale 3 October 2012.
