OMD hires new strategy group head
Media agency OMD has appointed former Starcom Mediavest Sydney creative strategy director Barry Mowszowski as one its strategy group heads. Mowszowski will lead strategy for a broad group of its client and report directly into OMD Australia national strategy head, Alistair Henderson.

MediaVest wins Europcar SEM and display
MediaVest has won the international digital media SEM and display account for global car hire company Europcar across nine corporate markets – France, Germany, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Belgium.

ADMA 30Below to launch in Brisbane
The Association for Data-Driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA) will launch its networking and social group for marketers, creatives and advertisers aged under 30 in Brisbane on 31 January.

MFA appoints committee chairs
The Media Federation of Australia has appointed new chairs for the People and Interactive committees. Ikon national people and culture director Leonie Kerley and MediaCom head of people and culture Efi Richter will chair the People Committee, while Ikon national digital director Ellie Rogers and Mediabrands commercial director Travis Johnson will chair the Interactive Committee.
