News does deal with InMobi for in house mobile ads

Independent mobile ad network InMobi has signed a local partnership with News Limited that enables it to bring mobile advertising in-house.

The two-year partnership means News can build mobile and tablet ads for clients across all of its digital brands. The technology is said to make designing ads faster, with more integrated and more flexible campaigns as a result.

The deal comes soon after News brought mobile sales and ad production in house. The company aims to capitalise on Australia's mature tablet market and accelerating mobile ad growth.

Accoprding to IAB figures, mobile advertising grw 220 per cent in 2012.
