Mi9 enlists director of product innovation

Mi9 has appointed Tim Parsons as its new director of product innovation.

Mi9 has appointed Quickflix's Tim Parsons as its director of product innovation in a bid to drive new audience acquisition and engagement.

Parsons will report to Mi9's managing director of data and services, Richard McLaren. He will be responsible for growing traffic volumes and boosting product interaction across devices, social media and aggregation platforms.

Parsons will join the company on 18 March 2013 from his current role as Quickflix chief innovation and operating officer. He has worked with digital agencies and online start-ups since 1996 and with major brands including McDonalds and Apple.

He described the appointment as "hugely exciting" and said there was a "real market opportunity with Mi9".
