The Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras has hired Holler as its digital consultants following the agency's 'Rainbow Code' initiative.

Holler has been briefed to expand the international engagement of the iconic organisation and its world-famous event. The agency will also work to identify new commercial opportunities.

Holler recently launched the 'Rainbow Code', an initiative designed to support the LGBTI community and the Rainbow Crossing Movement. The 'Rainbow Code' was a digital petition in support of marriage equality legislation and asked websites to display a digital rainbow across its homepage.

“As a fellow creative organisation, Holler have an innate understanding of our values and our aspirations for Mardi Gras,” Mardi Gras festival producer and senior marketing manager James Rongen-Hall said.

“We're genuinely excited to be working together to develop Mardi Gras to its full potential as a global beacon of LGBTQI pride, and I have no doubt that Holler's expertise will be a huge asset for our organisation well into the future.”

Holler chief executive Mike Hill said: “Mardi Gras has an incredible brand locally and internationally. The exciting part of this engagement for me is Holler's remit to focus on solving core business challenges, not just creative campaigns.”
