Mamamia confirms Kylie Rogers as national sales director

Mamamia has confirmed the appointment of former Ten Network commercial creative director Kylie Rogers as national sales director two weeks after AdNews tipped the TV exec was heading to the online publisher.

Mamamia CEO Jason Levigne confirmed Rogers would be joining the company to oversee sales on all of Mamamia's sites including ivillage.com.au, and the newly launched health and beauty site, theglow.com.au.

Rogers left Ten earlier this year after 17 years with the broadcaster where she rose through a series of senior roles before overseeing the launch of Ten's premium cross-platform offer.

Levigne said that Roger's appointment was part of the ongoing expansion of the business and was being supported a number of other hires in sales and marketing.

“We are thrilled that Kylie is joining us in this key role, it’s a real coup for us,” Levigne said.

“Her experience and reputation in market are peerless, and her innate understanding of effectively connecting audiences with brands makes her a perfect fit for our rapidly growing content focused media business.”

Roger's said: “I couldn’t be more excited to be joining the most dynamic digital publisher in Australia. With the undisputed growth and influence of digital media, Mamamia are leading the way when it comes to engaging with women and leveraging that engagement for clients.”

Mamamia has also hired Maree Marasco, formerly of NewsLifeMedia, to join its Melbourne sales team.

Courtney Beck, Digital and Social Creative Strategist, and Daniel Baldock, Strategy and Insights, have joined the business in Sydney from ad agency The Works.
