Lynx reacts to ad ban with another ballsy commercial

Following the news the controversial Lynx 'Clean Your Balls' campaign has been censured by the Advertising Standards Bureau (ASB), the advertiser has launched another innuendo-laden push poking fun at the ad watchdog's ruling.

The Unilever-owned brand has posted a video on YouTube in which a fake press conference is held regarding the “controversy” of the previous ad.

The character holding the press conference says, “I'm here today top clear up any misunderstandings about the 'Clean Your Balls' initiative.” The video then launches into another round of balls-related jokes.

The ad watchdog recently chastised Lynx for its 'Clean Your Balls' push, mainly for discrimination against the eldery, because it refers to “old saggy balls not being played with for years”.

The original ad featured actress Sophie Monk.

The new ad may suggest Lynx expected the original to get into hot water with the ASB.
