Leo Burnett Sydney has appointed Mother London staffer Zaid Al-Asady to the role of creative/art director to boost its creative firepower.

Al-Asady, who is relocating to Australia, was interactive creative/art director at Mother London, working on accounts including Stella Artois and Ikea.

Prior to his work with Mother London, Al-Asady was a creative/art director at Wieden+Kennedy London, working with brands including Nike and Nokia.

“It is fantastic to have Zaid on board,” said Leo Burnett Sydney’s chief creative officer Andy DiLallo. “Not only has he had global experience working on some of the world’s most recognised brands, he is an amazing talent with a real drive to make a difference to our business, our clients and the wider industry,”

Al-Asady's appointment is effective immediately.
