The senior creative team of Murray Laird and Steve Lorimer are leaving Marketforce to join The Brand Agency.

The move was confirmed late yesterday and forms part of The Brand Agency’s overall plan to revamp its creative department.

Murray and Lorimer’s arrival is one of a number of changes scheduled for The Brand Agency.

The agency’s creative director/ art director Craig Buchanan and senior copywriter Mitchell have also paired up and will form part of the new-look creative team when Lorimer and Laird start on August 24.

The Brand Agency executive director Garry Horner said he’s extremely happy with the latest appointments.

“You can always judge an agency by the calibre of people walking through its doors,” Mr Horner said.

Laird said he was looking forward to the move.

“We had started to notice the great work coming out of The Brand Agency soon after Garry (Horner) arrived … the decision to leave Marketforce after so many years was very difficult, but the opportunity to face new challenges wit a new team really excites us,’’ Laird said.
