John Sintras inducted into MFA Hall of Fame

Starcom's chief executive John Sintras became the first ever Media Federation of Australia (MFA) Hall of Fame inductee at last night's MFA Awards.

The industry chief was recognised for a career in media spanning 30 years.

Sintras was recognised as one of the industry's strongest advocates. He is a board member of the Australian Association of National Advertisers, OzTam, the Media Federation of Australia, the Audit Bureau of Australia and the Advertising Standards Bureau.

He sits on the editorial advisory panel for the ABC Australia Network, is an advisory board member at Standard Media Index and is on the Digital Radio Advisory Committee. Additionally, he sits on the boards of numerous charities.

Sintras also sits on Starcom's Global Management Group and is chairman of the group's Global Product Committee.

Sintras was handed the award by MFA president Henry Tajer.
