Interbrand Melbourne has lured back Sam Moore who will return to the branding business as managing partner.

Moore had previously worked at Interbrand's Sydney office in 2011 before moving to the UK where he did stints at agencies including Wolff Olins.

His focus will be on client development and business growth.

Interbrand Australia chief executive Damian Borchok said: “We're thrilled to have Sam back. This will be the third time that I've worked with Sam. He's one of the most highly regarded and well-liked guys in the industry. And he'll be a formidable asset to the business.”

Interbrand Melbourne executive director Nick Davis said: “Our ambitions for the Melbourne office are very substantial. We don't see any reason why we can't be the leading brand consultancy in this market. For the last 12 months we've been deepening our bench of talent, and Sam's hire is another step in driving the business momentum we're looking for.”
