Ziff Davis, which owns IGN Entertainment, has revealed its new sales team following its acquisition of IGN from News Corp earlier this year.
Daniel Scott will be national sales manager of Ziff Davis Australia, whose sites include IGN.com and AskMen.com. Scott held the same role with IGN when it was part of News Australia Sales. He has previously worked for News Digital Media and Fairfax.
The company has hired Jasmine May from News Corp as account manager and Switch Digital's Emmelita Corvaia will be senior account manager. A sales manager, consumer will be announced later.
Other members of the sales team include James Vongdara, who heads up Ad Operations, and sales executive Adam De Roma.
Ziff Davis Australia general manager James Whitehead said: “Launching the Australia office of Ziff Davis is extremely exciting – allowing us to take our established powerhouse brands to the next level, and introducing the opportunity to bring other globally successful sites to the country.
“We have ambitious growth plans with the team now in place to deliver on these objectives.”
Scott said: “I'm thrilled to introduce our new team, bringing a wealth of experience and creativity to Ziff Davis Australia.”
