IAB reveals social media marketing guidelines

The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) has launched best practice guidelines for marketing on social media. It has also rolled out guidelines for the conduct of ad verification and mobile and tablet ad formats.

The 'Paid Social Advertising' guidelines aim to provide information and clarity about social media as a marketing vehicle for agencies, marketers and service providers.

The 'Conduct of Ad Verification' guidelines details the methods for ad verification to reduce potential complications and misunderstandings.
