The closing date for the 2012 Glossy Awards is fast approaching. The awards celebrate the best of the best in magazine advertising in the Australian industry. Entries must be in by 24 July to be considered for the awards.
The Glossy Awards is comprised of 18 different categories, including a Grand Prix which comes with a $5,000 cash prize. From automotive to beverages, fashion to FMCG and everything in between, the Glossy Awards has it covered. There are also awards for best designer and best copywriter.
Judging will be done by a panel of experts led by chairman Paul Nagy, executive creative director of Clemenger BBDO Sydney.
“Print is still the purest test of creativity in this business,” Nagy said. “Little compares to the challenge of a blank sheet of paper.”
