Fairfax programmatic guru exits for Cadreon

Fairfax's sales unit has taken another hit as Jessica White, currently both head of trading and data and platforms commercial manager at the publisher, is set to join Mediabrands' trading desk.

Highly regarded within the programmatic trading sphere, White will join Cadreon as general manager, supporting MD Marc Lomas.

The news comes just weeks after sales boss Ed Harrison and number two Paul Sigaloff were poached by Yahoo!7.

It is not yet clear who is in line to replace any of the three, nor whether Fairfax will promote internal sales staff for any of the newly vacant roles. Those decisions will be made by Allen Williams, MD Australian Publishing Media, who is not yet back from leave.

In the meantime, senior sales staff such as NSW agency sales director Chris Freel and national trading director Ben Gunn among others are likely to shoulder extra responsibility.

White, who has spent seven years with Fairfax, is expected to start at Cadreon in March.
