Ex-Clemenger Adelaide CDs form new agency

Former Clemenger BBDO Adelaide creative directors Greg Knagge and Geoff Robertson have emerged with a new agency, Nation, two weeks after departing their previous roles.

Knagge and Robertson had led the Clemenger Adelaide creative team for the past 10 years. Knagge told AdNews Nation will start operations with "a couple" of undisclosed clients.

Knagge will be managing director of Nation and will look after the account service, strategy and planning side of the business while Robertson will be creative director. There will initially also be one freelancer on staff.

Knagge said: "Our vision is to make Nation a place where employees feel like citizens and clients always feel welcome. In this era of customer service it is essential to develop a culture that delivers the highest levels of client service across the entire organisation. Our experience allows us to offer market leading quality on a small agency scale."

Robertson said: "We loved our time at Clemenger but we have both felt for some time that we were ready for a new challenge. Innovative thinking and creative excellence is really the price of entry these days. Clients demand a quality product but they also now value a productive working relationship more than ever before."

Clemenger Adelaide is currently searching for a new creative director.
