Etihad Airways is reviewing its global creative and media accounts, believed to be worth around $160 million.

In Australia, PHD is the incumbent media agency and has held the account for four years. AdNews understands the global review will include its Australian operations.

The United Arab Emirates Airline, owned by the Abu Dhabi government, last reviewed its accounts in 2005 and appointed TBWA\London to its global creative business and OMD to its global media business.

Meanwhile in Australia, Etihad Airways today launched a travel promotion in News Magazines title GQ which offers a $22,000 travel prize.

The promotion runs in the October/November GQ issue, which is on sale today, and is distributed nationally as a double page advertisement within The Australian. As part of the promotion, Etihad will fly the winner to Abu Dhabi and Oman and then a 15 day tour of Europe.
