EXCLUSIVE: Payment services brand Eftpos has appointed Lavender to handle its creative account, replacing M&C Saatchi.

Last month, AdNews revealed Eftpos had called a pitch for the business after it parted ways with M&C, which had been appointed as the brand's first creative agency two years ago. M&C did not repitch for the account.

Lavender will work on the whole business, including platforms such as TV and out-of-home.

AdNews understands Lavender has been working on the business for several weeks and creative has already started to appear in out-of-home platforms.

Lavender, traditionally known for digital and direct marketing disciplines, has previously created TV campaigns for brands. Most notably, it created TV ads for its long-standing client Westpac in the period after the bank dropped The Campaign Palace and before it hired Big Red.

Eftpos' media agency is Razor. The media account was not reviewed.
