BMF managing partner Dylan Taylor has stepped down from the creative agency after eight years with the company.

Taylor served as executive creative director for a number of years before being promoted to managing partner in the agency restructure late last year. At the time, managing director Martin Rippon left the agency after 11 years of service.

Replacing Taylor will be client director Stephen McArdle, who's been elevated to managing partner. McArdle joined BMF in February from London agency CHI & Partners.

Taylor said: “I have enjoyed my time at BMF immensely, however time is the enemy of us all and it feels like the right moment for me to pursue other opportunities. I wish everyone at BMF continued success, it is a great agency.

I will miss a lot of things about BMF, but one thing stands above all others – the people. They are without a doubt a class apart – passionate, smart and bullish.”

Chief executive Jeremy Nicholas said: “Dylan has made an indelible contribution to the agency and the industry over his eight years here. All of the BMF family wish him the very best in the future.”

Earlier this week, BMF appointed Ricci Meldrum as managing partner of its Melbourne office. Chris Kay is also managing partner in Sydney.
