Roger Box has joined Clems Melbourne as director of digital innovation.

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has lured expat Roger Box home as director of digital innovation. Box was vice president at Digitas New York.

Box will take on the innovation role from Mark Gretton who has been promoted to head of digital strategy. This marks a return for Box who had previously worked at the agency as an account director in the mid-noughties. He's spent the past six years at Digitas.

Box was one of the brains behind the award-winning 'Small Business Saturday' campaign for American Express.

“We are delighted to welcome Roger back home. He's a world-class talent, born and bred in Melbourne,” said Clemenger BBDO Melbourne chief executive Peter Biggs. “Digitas New York is a brilliant agency and it's a fantastic coup to have Roger join us. I have no doubt that he will make our already strong digital capability even stronger.”

Box said: “[Clemenger] have an exemplary track record for attracting the highest calibre brands. Leading brands need to stay ahead of the digital curve for their business to thrive.”
