Clemenger's Kim Boehm moves to an executive chairman role.

Clemenger BBDO Adelaide stalwart Kim Boehm will transition to executive chairman after eight years as managing director. Bryce Coombe will step up in his place.

Boehm said the changes had been planned years ago. Coombe joined the agency seven years ago and has been head of account management for the past two.

“We've been planning this for the last few years and we think now is the right time to move Bryce up and into this role. Bryce has an incredible work ethic and a great passion for our business and importantly, he also has a strong vision for the future of our business,” said Boehm.

Coombe said: “Doing the best creative work possible will always be at the heart of our business but the way we help our clients deliver that work to their markets has changed and is continuing to change.

“Kim is an important part of the Adelaide agency, an important part of the Adelaide business community and will continue to be so as he helps us continue our transition into Adelaide's most forward-looking agency.”

Coombe will be only the fourth managing director in the agency's nearly five-decades history. He has already flagged continued investment in its digital and social offer.

The agency's client list inlcudes San Remo, Motor Accident Commission, Transitions Optical, University of South Australia, BankSA and Great Southern Rail.
