EXCLUSIVE: City of Melbourne has hired DDB Melbourne for a creative project. However, the organisation said it has not changed its relationship with CHE Proximity.

The City has appointed DDB for a specific project but it's unclear at this stage what that entails.

CHE Proximity, then CHE, was appointed by the City in September 2011, following a tender process. It took over creative duties from AJF Partnership.

A City of Melbourne spokesperson told AdNews: “City of Melbourne recently engaged DDB Melbourne for a specific project.

“CHE is City of Melbourne's tender appointed advertising agency, however this is not an exclusive contract. We will continue to work with CHE as needed.
