Big Red, not Droga5, takes on Qantas campaign for The Voice

Big Red is working on a campaign for Qantas around The Voice, the carrier has confirmed. The agency, run by Ted Horton, handles creative for Qantas' budget flight operation Jetstar. Droga5 usually handles most Qantas above-the-line work.

Asked whether Big Red was working on the ad, thought to be at the production stage, a spokeswoman for Qantas issued the following statement:

"We are currently working through a range of activities to leverage our sponsorship of The Voice. Qantas has relations with a number of different agencies and from time to time, as you’d expect, we look for the best fit between those agencies and the particular project or opportunity we’re working on."

Nine Entertainment Co. last week touted a raft of big-name sponsors for the third series of the talent show, a date for which has yet to be set.

Ford Australia, Vodafone, Australian Super and Swisse have re-signed for the new series, and Qantas, KFC and Commonwealth Bank have joined them as national sponsors.
