We've pored through all the major papers to make your life just a little easier. Seems today is all about sports broadcasting and car brands.
The Australian has reported that Seven has kicked a goal in the sports broadcasting competition with rivals Nine and Ten, with the network winning the rights to broadcast two games: one between the A-League all Stars and Manchester United, and the other between Melbourne Victory and Liverpool. AdNews has reported that too.
Meanwhile, on the sports rights front, The Australian has also brought the latest on the battle between Nine and Ten over the cricket rights.
It seems it's sport, sport and a bit more sport today. The Sydney Morning Herald has reported that gambling industry chiefs will be having a sit down with TV bosses about spruiking their wares during sports matches.
And everyone is talking about the news that perhaps the most famous car brand in the country, Ford, will be shutting down its local operations, posing the question: what does this mean for automotive brands in Australia? To name just a few, there have been some good yarns in the Herald, The Age and the Australian Financial Review.
